Beware when trout fishing2006-08-29 19:18:28mambo

I hope Britt Graber brings himself up to speed on what is in the water in the area, other than trout. Capps Creek has shown high levels of Ecoli in past testing, or at least the side stream running next to the Jolly Mill pond, which is fed by Capps Creek as well. Britt Graber might want to use caution and not splash water in any of his mucous membranes or ingest any during fishing forays. A word to the wise in this day and age of MO DNR promoting economic development over protecting, preserving and enhancing the waters of Missouri. I take that back, the MDNR is promoting enhancing the waters of Missouri with Ecoli. I also hope Britt is aware of the fish consumption warning issued by MO state agencies. The warning is due to high mercury contamination of every body of water in MO. PS, You might want to check those fish for festering sores as well. Happy fishing, Mark
