Jim Talent, honorary chair of the American Freedom and Enterprise Foundation, has met with other security "experts" after having been appointed a member of the congressionally mandated independent panel to assess the Department of Defense's Quadrennial Defense Review. He and the others will provide feedback on the content of the draft report (www.defense.gov/qdr/images/QDR_as_of_12Feb10_1000.pdf) that will determine the direction of America's defense programs for the next four years.
