I don't usually make comments, I am more of a comment luker at heart. In this case, I am stunned to learn that this kid, who cried out for help, has been offered just what he needs by living and recieving treatment at Boys and Girls Town of Missouri-- and this has not even been considered as a possibility by the state. This tells me that the state is out for harsh punishment and could care less about what would help troubled kids. This is an embarrassment to Missouri and anyone who has kids should take heed here and be very concerned. Your kid could be sitting in the adult jail for any number of bad choices, accidents or implusive decisions they may make in a split second. This is not right.
