It is preposterous to believe that voting yes on this issue hurts no one. Every action that retards implementation of health care reform or even just confuses the issue more will hurt many people who could go without needed health care coverage. If the existing health reform legislation is inadequate then fix it in rational well thought out ways. Demonizing it does no one any good and actually will hurt people.--rockyret but you aren't saying fix it. you are saying let the new legislation exist. by voting no you legitimized it. you said that it is okay as it is. however, you almost admit that it is inadequate (i see what you did there). if it is inadequate then why legitimize it...why perpetuate the inadequacy? why not vote yes...stand up and say that it is not good enough. write your congressmen, president, or maybe the people that really write the laws...Businessmen, Insurance Companies.
