Despite a Republican group recently characterizing her as a “rubberstamp”, it seems that the facts about Senator McCaskill’s record suggest just the opposite. It’s not going unnoticed that Claire is voting against the grain of her party at times and bridging gaps between the two parties when necessary. The Politico newspaper’s article today gives an amusing description of what the newest members of the Senate are known for. Their description of Claire as a “Non-Conformist” and a “Workhorse” sounds exactly like the characteristics a Missouri Senator should bring to Washington.
