On 11 Feb. 2010, Rep. Scott Largent introduced HB2150 in the Missouri House. This bill would remove the current minefield of generally unpublicized firearms laws within Missouri by reserving that entire field to the State legislature. So far, that bill has not even been assigned to a committee for a hearing due to inaction on the part of House Speaker Ron Richards. Missourians deserve to have this bill passed into law. At the very least, Missourians deserve to have this bill heard in committee and debated openly. Please, contact Rep. Richards office and let him know that his action, or rather inaction on this bill is unacceptable and unfair to the citizens of Missouri whom he is supposed to be serving.
