As some of you have noticed, the portion of the Frisco Greenway Trail north of Mount Hope Road is temporarily closed. We have known for some time that Webb City would eventually extend 17th Street across the FGT. The bad news is that the construction will probably last until early October. But this is more than offset by the good news that a safe detour will permit trail users to bike or walk around the construction and return to the trail at 14th Street. Many thanks to Webb City for their willingness to provide a safe detour and to Bruce Rhodes of Anderson Engineering for working out the route. Before too long, you should see signs indicating the detour.
