THIS CHILD "WORTH" SAVING2007-06-08 07:47:24knight

Child justice advocates, nation wide continue to campaign to get laws "changed" governing persons under the age of 18. We do not condone any crime, but children, in their growing years, continue to need guidance, counseling, discipline, and efforts of rehabilitation to help them become a "productive" member of society. This child is "also a victim" of a sorely, broken "system". The brain and developments of body, mind and soul are still in the growing process, and do not have the capablity of "thinking" as a full grown adult, yet, so many children are arrested, tried, convicted and sentenced "as an adult". This is clearly cruel and inhumane treatment of a "child". This case belongs in a "juvenile" court of law. He deserves a "chance" to turn his life around, an "offer" to become a productive member of society, but chidren are never even given/offered that "chance".........Knight, Admin, KIDSINCOURT.NET
