george, just like there are two d-s in "riddance" you should know that dental care is so inexpensive in Ireland that insurance is both unnecessary and unavailable. I have been arguing that fluoridation alone does not prevent caries.....Most of my comment about checking Irish teeth was a bit facetious. Relating casual observation to outcome is about as unscientific as my claiming, although a fact, that I had cavities while growing up in a town that during my lifetime had water with fluoride until I moved to Joplin where the water had been free of it. BTW, where are you from?
