Thanks for the detailed coverage of the Thomas White hearing. Personally, I believe that White should be tried as an adult, and if found guilty, he should be certified for Dual Jurisdiction (the imposition of a simultaneous juvenile and adult sentence with the latter suspended). DYS operates a secure facility in Montgomery City specifully for Dual Jurisdiction juveniles. There's incentive for succeeding in the Montgomery City program before the child reaches the age of 21.
