More about protecting petition rights2011-01-29 20:51:27rcalzone

We had multiple lawyers and other experts help word the petition language. But the odds aren't favorable for being able to afford to challenge the bad ballot titling. We don't agree with Auditor Montee's fiscal note summary. The potential to have to reprint ballots already exists. In fact, you could argue that our language actually DECREASES the likelihood of a need to reprint ballots, since we would make more clear what signatures are valid and which aren't. That means fewer litigation delays.
