Yesterday the city of Joplin was notified of another passing due to injuries sustained during the May 22, 2011 tornado. The most recent death is that of Janice McKee. This brings the fatality total to 159.

They include: Dale Arsenault, James Cookerly, Michelle Dennis, Robert Griffin, Stephen Haack-Stephens, Leona Hardin, Judy R. Head, Kenneth J. Henson, Ladonna S. McPurdy, Edith L. Moore, Georgia Mulkey, Nicole Parrish, Cheryl Rantz, Darlene Ray, Margaret E. Rowe, Cayla Robinson, Betty Stogsdill, Jefferson Taylor (Jeff) and Douglas Williams. No further information was provided. As of June 17, 2011, the official death toll stands at 154.
