| Two Joplin residents recently were appointed by Missouri Gov. Matt Blunt to serve the state.
Appointed to the State Committee for Professional Counselors, Naomi R. Hunter, 54, is a counselor at the Ozark Center Turnaround Ranch. She holds a bachelor's degree in pyschology from Missouri Southern State College and a master's in counseling from Pittsburg State University.
Jan C. Tupper, 71, a retired engineer and president of Allgeier, Martin and Associates, has been appointed to the Clean Water Commission. He holds a bachelor's degree in geology from the University of Oklahoma and has knowledge of waste water treatment.
Both appointments are subject to Senate confirmation. Hunter's term expires August 28, 2008. Tupper's term ends April 12, 2011. Go Back |
