Tanglefooters Round Dance Club in existence in Joplin since 1975 is providing ballroom lessons beginning at 7 p.m. at the Joplin Senior Citizen Center (22nd & Jackson) every Monday until the spring 2008. Although the lessons for beginners started last September with the cha cha, two-step and waltz, other ballroom figures like the rumba, fox-trot, tango and swing will be introduced. Dancers are led through the moves by verbal prompting known as cueing.
