Two captured in South Middle School break-in admin2
Updated: 2007-12-03 16:14:11-06
Responding to an alarm call initiated by building engineer David Guilford, Joplin police officers were able to capture two of three subjects who had broken into South Middle School, 310 W. 22nd St. at about 6:20 p.m. on December 2, 2007. They were apprehended after fleeing out of the rear of the school. One juvenile male escaped.

Several areas in the building were damaged by the break in and cash, electronics and snack food were stolen.

Pictured is Zachery S. Lollar of Wyandott, OK after being apprehended by Joplin Police.

One male, whose name was withheld because of his age, was transported to the juvenile detention center for burglary and possession of marijuana. Zachery S. Lollar of Wyandotte, OK, age 19, is being held in the Joplin City Jail on probable cause burglary and a city complaint of possessing brass knuckles, an illegal weapon.

Investigators are attempting to determine the identity of the third suspect.
