The Northpark Mall has announced that several stores will occupy more than 75,000 square feet of retail space by spring of 2012. They are:

  • Spirit is offering a large selection of Halloween costumes for all ages including infants, adults, plus sizes and even for your pets as well as everything needed to decorate a home for a Halloween party. Halloween Express will be located across from Old Navy September 1 through October 31, 2011.

  • Ulta Beauty is delivering a refreshing experience in shopping for affordable indulgence. This iconic beauty store will offer a mega-selection of a superstore with the personalized service and boutique ambiance of a specialty store. An interactive experience, ULTA invites customers to browse, play, touch, test, learn and explore

    to their heart’s content. The 10,499 square foot store will be located across from Garfield’s near the food court next spring.

  • Jo-Anne Fabric and Crafts will open a permanent location at Northpark Mall in spring of 2012. Jo-Anne Fabric and Crafts is the nation’s largest specialty retailer of fabrics and one of the largest specialty retailers of crafts, serving customers in their pursuit of apparel and craft sewing, crafting, home decorating and other creative endeavors. Retail stores feature a variety of competitively priced merchandise used in sewing, crafting and home decorating projects, including fabrics, notions, crafts, frames, paper crafting material, artificial floral, home accents, finished seasonal and home décor merchandise. The store will occupy 22,098 square feet near TJ Maxx. The store will replace the location lost in the May tornado. It currently is operating from a temporary mall location.

  • Shoe Dept. Encore offers quality footwear at value pricing. Offering a full catalog of brands and styles, Encore considers themselves a shoe lovers paradise. Designed for convenience, it offers self-service, with staff always ready to assist. The 13,853 square foot store will open spring 2012 and will be located adjacent to Macy’s.

  • Tilt will expand their offerings to 15,406 square feet in a new space next to Vintage Stock. Offering family entertainment and an array of arcade style games the new space will open in spring 2012.

  • Old Navy will be relocating next to Sears in the spring. The new store will offer a refreshed environment for shopping with all of the same family favorites for men, women and children.
