JEFFERSON CITY - Looking for a quick way to find out what?'s going on in Missouri transportation? The Missouri Department of Transportation's website offers a one-minute broadcast that provides the latest in transportation news.

Called the "MoDOT Minute," the weekly broadcast covers the highlights of state transportation news affecting Missourians. Presented in a TV-news format, the online video spot airs every Tuesday.

"With the click of a mouse, the MoDOT Minute gives busy people the highlights of what's going on in transportation in 60 seconds," said MoDOT Director Pete Rahn. "It's amazing what you can pack into a minute."

In addition to the MoDOT Minute, the highway department offers an electronic newsletter called "Express Lane" that gives subscribers quick access to more comprehensive transportation information.

"Both of these low-cost tools are designed to help us keep the public informed about what's going on at MoDOT and further our efforts to be an open and transparent organization," Rahn said.
