Crowder's veterinary tech program is accredited c-brown
Updated: 2006-11-14 13:07:30-06
The Crowder College Veterinary Technology Program has been granted accreditation from the American Veterinary Medical Association, according to an announcement by Stephanie Watson, D.V.M., the program director. Graduates of the Crowder program will now be eligible for licensure after successful performance on the Veterinary Technician National Examination and licensing examinations in the states of their choice.

"We appreciate those of you who have mentored our students and supported our program in other ways, including attending our advisory committee meetings and providing valuable input," Watson said. "We look forward to working with you in the future and hope that you will look to us to provide you with the well-trained technicians who can make such a difference in your practices."

The Veterinary Technology Program will accept 16 students each August. Applications will be due in April. For more information contact Watson at (417) 455-5772 or send an e-mail.
