Updated: 2007-04-30 16:09:31
Members of the Crowder College TEC student organization/Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) offered through area schools in Newton and McDonald counties are gathered around the basket they raffled off to raise money for various community projects, including purchasing children's books for the Neosho Public Library and a contribution to the FCCLA group at Enterprise High School in Alabama. Under the guidance of Kelly Burton, the students are members of the Careers in Early Childhood Education class that prepares students for work in preschool or elementary education. They are (L-R) Ashley Renfro, Krista Garrett (winner of the raffle), Channon Gibson, Kristin Hagens, Crystal Epperson. (Photo by Kelly Burton)
