| After more than 12 years as a part of the “Crowder Family” Roger Wagner, dean of technical instruction and business/community relations has tendered his resignation. It will take effect July 7, 2007.
Wagner has accepted a position with Copper Mountain College in the Desert Community College District, six miles east of Joshua Tree, California. His new role will be vice president and chief instructional officer.
In his resignation letter to Dr. Marble, Wagner stated, “I cannot say enough wonderful things about Crowder College, about all the people I’ve encountered in my years of service with the College, and especially about you and all the others that have served on the administrative team."
In an e-mail notifying the staff about Wagner's resignation Marble wrote, “I have terribly mixed emotions about this because I am happy that he has found a position that appeals to him so much, but I know we will miss his pleasant and steady campus presence. Besides, we have become very close personal friends and I will just plain miss him.”
