| Courses in elementary education and general business from Missouri State University will be offered to Crowder College students. A memorandum of understanding for the educational partnership agreement was signed on December 20, 2007, by Dr. Alan Marble, Crowder College president and Dr. Michael Nietzel, Missouri State University president, on the Crowder College campus in Neosho.
“Missouri State and Crowder College have enjoyed a very good relationship for many years,” said Nietzel. “This agreement enhances that partnership. We look forward to working with President Marble, his Board, and his faculty and staff to provide these additional opportunities for students in southwest Missouri.”
The partnership will increase students’ ability to transfer from Crowder College into a bachelor-awarding degree program at Missouri State with maximum ease and allow them to continue taking courses in Neosho. Both institutions have been working to bring these new courses to the area as a way for students to continue their education without having to make major life changes with their home and family.
Missouri State agriculture classes are currently available to Crowder students through the Missouri Pathways grant program.
