Non-traditional student receives award at Crowder

Johnna Miller, a second year student at Crowder College, pictured second from left, was presented the 2010 Spring Semester Student Leadership Award. She was recognized for displaying strong leadership skills both on and off campus, maintaining a distinguished academic record and having a high level of integrity and character. She is a full-time student, wife and mother who also works for a local dairy while attending college. She was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa, is a representative of the PTK Student Government and has been recognized in the agriculture and dairy fields. In 2009-10 she served as announcer for the Neosho Christian Schools spelling bee.
