Stacia Baker, a combination Neosho High School/Crowder College Technical Education Center student, is shown with CCTEC instructor Kelly Burton who is presenting her with a certificate. Baker was the recipient of the Western-Southwestern Consortium Tech Prep Student of the Year award presented to her at the capitol building in Jefferson City on March 4, 2011. A CCTEC child development program student and winner of their Junior of the Year Award, Baker served as secretary of Skills USA receiving third place in the Skills district level competition in parliamentary procedure and seventh place in state for her preschool lesson presentation. She plans on attending Crowder College earning an associate of arts in teaching. Her long term goal is to become a special education teacher on the elementary level.
