November 16, 2011
The Crowder College Foundation's 9th Annual Festival of Wreaths and dinner was a huge success, according to foundation officials, raising $55,018.50 for scholarships.

The Elsie Plaster Community Center on Crowder's Neosho campus was filled with over 300 people eager to bid on items ranging from trips to Mexico and Colorado to wreaths, trees, centerpieces, toys and gift certificates of all kinds. This event is a major fundraiser with businesses and individuals playing a huge role in its success.

"It was just a marvelous evening...lots of fun and saw several old friends and made some new ones and we raised quite a bit of money doing it," said Fred Clark, long-time foundation board member and scholarship committee co-chair.

The foundation already has started planning for the 10th Annual Festival of Wreaths. Mark your calendars for the event to take place on November 13, 2012.
