Joplin elementary school receives sprucing up c_owens

Royal Heights Elementary School, 2100 Rolla St., Joplin, received a long overdue makeover on June 18, 2011, as volunteers and district staff spent the day landscaping, painting and removing old fencing to warm up the exterior portion of the school. Volunteers from the Royal Heights PTO and Bentonville, AR school district pitched in to help rejuvenate the building. Because of the success of the Royal Heights makeover, Joplin Schools hopes several district buildings will undergo similar renovations prior to school starting.
