| Families displaced by the Joplin tornado planning to send children to a different school in the fall 2011 should attend one of two pre-enrollment sessions set for several school districts. The pre-enrollment dates are July 11 and 18, 2011, for Carl Junction Carthage, Joplin, Neosho and Webb City. The administrative offices of districts not listed should be contacted for further information.
Pre-enrollment information has been announced for these districts:
- Carl Junction - 1-7 p.m. each day at the Carl Junction High School, 206 S. Roney. For a different time phone (417) 649-5755.
- Carthage - 1-5 p.m. on July 11 and 3-7 p.m. on July 18 at Carthage High School, 2600 S. River. To schedule another time phone (417) 359-7000.
- East Newton - 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day at the District Central Office, 22808 E. Highway 86. For more information phone (417) 472-6231.

A proof of residency, if possible, and a photo ID will be needed.
