Joplin Marine takes time out to help Tinian child
December 05, 2013
Lance Cpl. Michael Bridenstine of Joplin helps a group of first graders with their writing skills at the Tinian Elementary School in the Northern Mariana Islands. The service members are on Tinian as part of Exercise Forager Fury II whose purpose is to employ and assess combat power generation and operations in a deployed, austere and unimproved environment. He is one of several service members who volunteered time out of their daily routine to work with the children, interact and play games. Bridenstine is a chemical biological radiological nuclear defense specialist with Marine Wing Support Squadron 171, Marine Aircraft Group 12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
