Boomtown Days, Joplin and the 4-state's premier festival event, is now accepting vendor applications for the 2011 Miner’s Marketplace and Culinary Court. Celebrating its 10-year anniversary, the event again will take place June 9-11, 2011 in Landreth Park. For a map go here.
Marketplace vendors are defined as businesses featuring arts/crafts, live demonstrations, interactive exhibits, agriculture exhibits, business displays, non-food items, merchandise and pre-packaged food items such as jams/jellies/honey, etc. Food Vendors are those that feature made to order food items and non pre-packaged food items. The marketplace vendor's rate for a 10'x10' outdoor space is $175, $275 for a 10'x20' space; both include one electrical receptacle that's 110 volts. The flat rate for food vendors is $500 and generally includes electrical needs with additional electricity provided at additional cost. The rates for non-profit or non-for-profit groups are $50 for a 10'x10' space and $75 for a 10'x20' space.

Boomtown Days is a family-friendly event held in Landreth Park each June. The festival is a collaboration between the city of Joplin, the Joplin Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce and is completely planned and executed by community volunteers. Go Back |
