To the editor:

The officers and crew of USS Missouri [the fifth ship representing the state] extend their support and condolences to the people of Missouri in response to the tornado devastation in Joplin. The people of Missouri are tremendous supporters of the ship and the U.S. military. In this time of crisis we extend our thoughts and prayers.
