The Joplin Narcotic’s Unit served a search warrant at Motel 6, Room 209, 3031 S. Range Line Rd. today (Friday, Nov. 13, 2009).

A search of the location produced a large off-white rock suspected to be “crack” cocaine. Taken into custody was an Anthony M. Smith, a 26 year old male from Joplin.

He is currently being held at Joplin City Jail and paperwork will be forwarded to the Jasper County Prosecutor’s Office for the filing of charges for possession of a controlled substance.
