No details have yet to be released in connection with a Sedgwick County murder allegedly involving two Joplin women. Rhonda Pischel (left) and Sharon Huddleston (right), both of 629 S. Byers were arrested by detectives from the Joplin Police Department and are being held in the Joplin City Jail on charges of being felony fugitives from Kansas. They are awaiting extradition to Kansas where they are expected to be charged with first-degree murder.

Joplin detectives had been assisting investigators with the Park City, Kansas Police Department and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation for the past two months.
