Editor's note: While certain local media outlets and media wannabes have rushed to name a certain individual in Joplin as a "person of interest" in this case, it should be stressed that as such this person has not been charged with any crime. Because of this media frenzy to provide news first, a rumor mill has been fanned and people quick to judgment have identified this person as a "serial killer." This is most unfortunate.
