JPD announce results of Friday's checkpoints cniess
Updated: 2011-10-03 16:34:53
Joplin Police Department conducted three DWI checkpoints on Friday, September 30. The checkpoints were held at the intersections of 13th and Schifferdecker, Zora and St. Louis, and 26th and Connecticut. Ten JPD officers and one corrections officer assisted. Officers contacted a total of 761 cars. The checkpoints yielded five DWI arrests, one driving While suspended arrest, and four felony warrant arrests.

With these checkpoints and other enforcement activity, Joplin Police Department seeks to remind the community of our firm commitment to making Joplin roads safer and reducing the number of alcohol-related crashes.
