| The Neosho Area Chamber of Commerce invites the public and business community to attend the 4th Annual Neosho E-conference on Friday and Saturday, September 25-26, 2009 at Crowder College in Neosho. The e-conference accentuates energy, environment, and economy by providing a forum for discussing new energy sources, energy efficiency and environmentally sound practices to create economic opportunity and a sustainable future for the region.
Forms are now available to nominate Neosho area businesses for three excellence awards: The MARET Center Energy Excellence Award will recognize an outstanding effort in instituting, utilizing or providing energy efficiency or energy efficient products or services, the Eastern Shawnee Longhouse Management Authority Excellence in Environmental Stewardship Award will recognize an outstanding effort in instituting, utilizing or providing successful environmental projects and/or conservation measures, and the Crowder College Students for Alternative Green Energy Club Excellence in Green Building Award will recognize an outstanding effort in instituting, utilizing or providing green building goods, services or practices.
