KANSAS CITY, MOThe Storm Report Radio Network, an award-winning nationally-syndicated custom weather service, announced recently that they have launched a new podcast series, "Tornado Talk." The weekly show, hosted by meteorologists Dan Holiday and Jennifer Narramore, features interviews with storm chasers, storm victims, scientists, and interacts with listeners by phone so they may share their tornado stories.

We love putting these stories together," Narramore said. "It provides our listeners with vivid images of the events we are covering from the meteorologists and storm spotters. Some of them are so moving and inspiring.

The shows fourth episode looks back at the deadly tornado that tore through Joplin, on May 22, 2011. Guests on "Tornado Talk" include Jeff Piotrowski, a storm chaser who tracked the twister right into the city and Meteorologist Mike Smith who authored the book, When the Sirens Were Silent. Area residents Steve Scott, Bobby Wilkerson and Rebecca Smith discuss how they were affected by the storm.

Past "Tornado Talk" episodes also include the devastating Dixie Alley tornado outbreak in April, 2011, the Greensburg, Kansas EF-5 tornado and a twentieth anniversary tribute to the movie, Twister.
