oplin Police were dispatched to an armed robbery just after 11 a.m. today (Mar. 22, 2014) that had just occurred at Family Pharmacy, 3202 S Indiana.

Upon arriving on scene witnesses stated that a white male possibly in his 20s, approximately 5'10", 150 pounds, wearing a black sweat shirt, dark pants and a ski mask entered the store. The suspect displayed a knife and demanded prescription medications. The suspect fled on foot west from the location. There were no injuries reported.

Investigators are still processing the scene and following up. As more information becomes available it will be released.
