| Heartland Propane, based in Girard, KS, is proud to announce the option of underground propane storage tanks for our residential customers. The underground tanks are becoming a popular item, especially in new construction, and Heartland Propane is one of the few propane dealers in the Midwest to offer the convenience to their customers.
The underground tanks are hidden and don't clutter up the landscape with the exception of a 12” riser, which is the only thing visible, but easily can be concealed. The riser serves to allow Heartland Propane's employees to check the levels and fill the tank.
All of our service personnel have had specialized training from the Kansas Propane Marketer's Association on the proper installation and service of underground tanks. We've been serving our satisfied customer base since the late 1990s and have offered underground units since 2003.
