It just dawned on me. Did anyone in Newton County ever inquire on what and how much the property taxes are/were on the new Moark facility? It seems it would be very high with the money they spent on the buildings even though they may get an agriculture rate. 'Seems it should be as a corporation or business type assessment.
As a side note it seems that the well they put in should be taxed quite high since it was such a big one with high capacity. I wonder how they do that over a regular residential well assessment? I would also assume the land is more highly valued than normal pasture since it had such high tech development. I wonder?
