Believe it or not tweens, teens and 30-somethings have something in common: social networking and dieting. Health-minded folks of all ages are turning to interactive internet sites to help them lose weight and keep it off.

As part of its effort to help people live healthier lives, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield has launched a virtual contest to help people boost their way to better health. Starting today through August 15, 2011, Facebook users who enter Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shields Join In to Win contest, can like, post, and jump start their way to a healthier life and a personal training experience with Bob Harper from The Biggest Loser.

Join In to Win is an interactive, virtual contest designed to encourage people to set and achieve their health and fitness goals. Social network channels are a great way to encourage others and be encouraged by your friends to live healthier.

The leaders of the top 5 teams, selected by Bob Harper for level of participation and selection of goal, will win a personal training experience with him. The training experience includes participation in a 6-week training period in the form of video chats. Winners also will be assigned an Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Health coach to help them achieve their health and fitness goals.
