Quapaw Casino donates bike to Miami Senior Center michelle
Updated: 2006-03-24 17:15:00
Edith Bullis, a member of the Miami Senior Center, tries out the new commercial grade exercise bike donated to the center by the Quapaw Casino, also of Miami, OK. The donation was valued at over $3,000. Looking on is Michelle Patterson, marketing director of Quapaw Casino and Bonnie Howe, administrator of the Senior Center.

Located at 2104 Denver Harner Drive (off of N. Elm St.), the center is a place where area seniors can go for fellowship, play games, have lunch, read and work out. Since opening their doors in 1993, the center has served seniors who are from the surrounding area and have reached their 60th birthday or older. A nonprofit United Way Agency, the center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
