Happy Easter from the Blunts
April 07, 2007
The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; He has risen, just as He said. Matthew 28: 5-6

The Easter season holds a special meaning for Missouri Christians as we celebrate the resurrection of Christ and reflect on His ultimate sacrifice. For Christians this is the pivotal event of human history and an example of the love we should have for one another.

On this special holiday thousands upon thousands of Missouri churches will have the freedom and the opportunity to praise God for His love and Christ’s sacrifice. In a world filled with supercharged egos we can remind ourselves that the most humble man to ever walk our planet changed the world.

Throughout all the year we should thank God for all His blessings, but Easter is a special time of renewal and hope.

For my family it is exciting to watch our son’s growing awareness of Easter and spring. He loves chocolate and being outside so he is already fond of Easter candy and being outdoors after being inside for much of a long winter.

Melanie, Branch and I wish for you and your family a joyous and blessed Easter.
