Right to Life endorsement is questioned holc
Updated: 2010-07-29 19:54:14
To the editor:

I question the endorsement of a Missouri 7th district Congressional representative by the Missouri Right to Life (MRL). I am wondering why the candidate was selected when his support of pro-life causes was simply talking on the radio. I served in a Missouri Right to Life (MRL) chapter and it appears that, in this instance, the MRL is attempting to pick winners and losers.

My friend, and candidate, Mike Moon is one of the most pro-life people I know. He has contributed money, and along with his family, has been personally involved in events sponsored by pro-life organizations. I am puzzled by the fact that the MRL endorsement did not take this into account. While talking on the radio may be good, Mike Moon has put his money where his mouth is. That’s why I question the MRL’s decision.

Mike Moon is deserving of the MRL’s endorsement; however, since that will not happen during this election cycle, I encourage voters to look beyond the political games being played.....
