Heather M. LaFrancis presented her work entitled "Nurturing Children's Dispositions of Caring for Others" at SECA, the Southern Early Childhood Conference held in Little Rock on January 23, 2010. Fourteen southern states were represented. She is a 2004 graduate of Joplin High School, received her bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of Arkansas and is a May candidate at UA for a Master of Science in early childhood development.
