Heart of America Beverage Company is sponsoring a sports trivia competition. The event will begin at 5 p.m. on August 21, 2014, at the Darr Agricultural Center, 2401 S. Kansas Expway., Springfield. At the Main Event, benefiting The Kitchen, Inc. teams of players will compete to answer 10 questions in 10 sports categories. Cash prizes for the teams with the most correct answers are $1,000 for 1st place, $500 for 2nd place and $250 for 3rd place. Beer and snacks will be provided. KY3 sports director Ned Reynolds will be the emcee.

Registration is $500 per team with a maximum of 10 individuals per team. No electronic devices will be allowed. The registration form and fee must be received by August 15, 2014.
