Scott King has been named executive director at Spring River Christian Village in Joplin.

King has 22 years of healthcare management experience, including serving as a regional director of operations. He earned his MBA in healthcare administration from Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, Texas.

Spring River is located just east of Joplin's Northpark Mall. All levels of care are offered on the campus. Skilled nursing includes long-term care, short-term rehab, respite care and hospice care. Garden apartments are available for assisted living residents. Independent living residents can choose from garden apartments or garden homes.

Spring River Christian is one of the 14 senior living communities of Christian Homes, Inc., the second largest not-for-profit long-term healthcare provider in the U.S. The faith-based organization has campuses in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana and Iowa.
