The Crawford County Health Department and the Kansas Public Health Association (KPHA) will host a community forum at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 7, 2008 at Memorial Auditorium, 503 N Pine, in Pittsburg, KS.

Legislators will be present to discuss health reform issues before the Kansas Legislature and answer your questions. State and Local health departments will present topics on preparedness efforts for pandemic flu. Information about the nationwide “Get Ready” campaign and how individuals, families and organizations can plan for emergencies will also be available. The forum will conclude with a brief question and answer session.

The forum is free and open to the public. For more information or to request special accommodations, please contact the Crawford County Health Department at (620) 231 5411 during normal business hours.
