The Secret Santa visited Joplin again last night. The Salvation Army of Joplin received $100,000 in our kettles from an unknown donor.
For five years we have received $50,000 in our kettles from our Secret Santa but this year the donation was increased to $100,000. The kettle sites which received the checks were in front of 7th Street Walmart and Walgreens on 7th and Maiden Lane. The donation came in the form of 10 $10,000 cashier checks with "Santa" listed as the remitter.
Merry Christmas to the Joplin community and surrounding areas.
