The Mark Chapman Band, pictured with Big D and Bubba and a panel of judges including Michael Knox, Jeff Howard and Ron Kerere, has announced that members recently won a competition sponsored by the Wildhorse Saloon of Nashville, Tennessee. The group claimed the title after the elimination of 19 other bands. Their prize includes headlining during the CMA Music Festival and opening for a national act.

Anchored by the songwriting skills of lead vocalist and founder Mark Chapman, from Pierce City, the MCB members include Jeff Chapman (Mark’s brother) also from Pierce City, Bill Bruce, Randall Wildman and Paul Napierski all from Springfield.

The Mark Chapman Band has provided tour support for notable country stars Josh Turner, Eli Young Band, Easton Corbin, Justin Moore and Joe Diffie to name a few. Go to their website to find their schedule.
