Shannon Lenker, pictured, recently has been promoted to the position of general manufacturing manager at TAMKO Building Products, Inc.’s Joplin High Street facility, TAMKO's original manufacturing facility that began operations in 1944. In this new capacity, Lenker will be responsible for managing all aspects of operations there.
Lenker began working for TAMKO while attending Kansas State University where he graduated with a degree in civil engineering. He accepted full-time employment as a project engineer at TAMKO’s Phillipsburg, KS manufacturing facility in 1997. He later was promoted to maintenance manager and roofing plant manager. In November 2003 Lenker relocated to TAMKO’s Frederick, MD facility where he was promoted to the position of assistant general manager and in October 2005 he was promoted to general manufacturing manager of TAMKO’s Dallas manufacturing facility.
“Shannon has excelled in a number of roles for TAMKO,” said David Humphreys, TAMKO's president and CEO. “We look forward to his continued contributions at one of our largest production facilities.”
Lenker, his wife Amber and children Allyson, Ruben, Mia and River have relocated to the Joplin area. Lenker is originally from Phillipsburg, KS.
