Homeowners in need of replacing their main entry door may take advantage of HR 483, a federal act which allows a tax credit for the purchase of energy saving home systems and materials. The purchase and installation of a qualified ENERGY STARŽ main exterior door could gain homeowners up to $500 in federal tax credits for 2011.
